After several weeks of tearing down walls and removing the previous owner’s junk, I can actually crap up my new shop with my own garbage! BEHOLD!
And yes, the Jeep looks like a non-running victim of the penalty box shoved unceremoniously in the corner because it was shoved back there by the tractor... She’s dead, Jim. I haven’t had time to diagnose, but I started it up to go to work about a month ago, and upon shoving it in gear and easing out on the ol’ clutch, she randomly lost spark. Most likely a CPS, because 4.0. I kinda don’t want to spend money fixing it, because I’m lusting after an LM4 swap, but that probably w on’t happen in this decade.
Not pictured: that also-non-running S10 Blazer that’s still abandoned in my work parking lot after 5 months. S’pose I should drag that outta there before it gets towed...

As long as you are doing it as a hobby, making a editing IRL videos is fun. It’s the initial cost that’ll get you. And your not MCM. . . right now.
Setup is so MCM esque though. And that's a good thing!

I could fit more cars if my taste in cars wasn’t so ‘Merican. I never think of that K5 as “big” until I try to park it next to something. It makes the Studebaker look teeny!

I’ve got a good long-time friend (burnoutsandrotorblades on YouTube) who’s been bugging me to make videos forever... I may give it a whirl.

Shoot some test footage and get to know a video editor. Shortcut is free and easy to learn. I think you would do well.

Think the electrical will support 100kw?

Probably. The neighbor across the street would be able to help. It’s a big ol’ marijuana operation.

I wish! I’ve got 20x25. When we went on our honeymoon years ago I managed to stuff a Juke, a Veloster, a teardrop trailer, an enduro bike, a street bike, and 2 bicycles into it. Took a 30 point turn to get the Juke sideways into the corner to make it work and slipped the trailer tongue under the enduro and the Veloster.

The CPS is at the top of the bell housing using the inverted torx bolts. It need a e-10 or 8 socket.
I think I did mine with a few extensions & U-joint and didn’t need to drop the trans.

Nice!
Though if the Jeep is broken, I’m not sure stashing it the engine bay against a wall is going to be good for getting it going again. You better hope whatever is wrong is on the passenger side...

I used the floor jack to shove it over there, I’ll use the floor jack to yank it back out. I’m pretty apathetic towards the poor thing lately. I’ve owned it for 18 years, so periodically I get really bored with it. I’ll get to it eventually. I am happy it’s stored under cover for the first time in... ever.

I’ve had this turd for 18 years, so I’ve done it once or twice. I find it’s easiest to just unbolt the crossmember from the uniframe and let the back end sag down to where you can get at the CPS straight on.

Yep. That’s the way. I did it as I mentioned on my 93 and it was not as simple. Although I have a long arm set up now on my 99 so I’m not looking Forward to it.

I had long arms previously with a drop-out crossmember. I’m glad I never cut off my short arm brackets, because all the negative comments on the IRO long arm setup are 100% valid. I went with drop brackets, stock ZJ rear lowers and stock XJ uppers and couldn’t be happier.
